For something modern Song No. 3 by Stone Sour https://youtu.be/_ud5vzAr4nE Edit: the acoustic version would probably be better for a dance https://youtu.be/hzaIHzdZtRY

Corey is a fucking genius, but this isn't what I'm looking for. Still, anyone that posts Corey tailor can't have bad ideas

GoltimarTheGreat

Stairway to Heaven might be nice, don't know all the lyrics though, so definitely check.

mpek1992

A bit too sad iirc

sarahssecret01

We had ‘Don’t stop me now’ by Queen as we walked into the registry office, ‘Baby I Love you’ by the Ramones as we left. And signing of the papers we played ‘English Rose’ by The Jam. Not exactly first dance - we didn’t have one.

mpek1992

Anything by queen is a great idea, one of the best bands ever.

iceman694

Can you feel my heart by bring me the horizon

mpek1992

Sounds great, but a bit heavier than I am looking for, any other ones?

iceman694

Its kinda pop....but follow you by bring me the horizon?

juxstapossible

My wife and I’s first dance was Parabol/Parabola by Tool. The first part is slow and lovely, and the second part cranks it to eleven.

I'll Follow You by Shinedown

harpdigitalart

More emo than rock but "last of the real ones" by fallout boy might be good. Also the song that goes "ooo you make me live" by queen

BananaKbone

"A Little Piece Of Heaven" by Avenged Sevenfold.

mpek1992

Tried that one, she almost stabbed me fifty fucking times

BananaKbone

It's a good song though, I'm not good with the whole romantic side of things though, I usually stick to the angry side of metal, like Slipknot. Wait, I just thought of one, or two, "Vermilion PT. 1" or "Vermilion PT.2" by Slipknot, or, maybe even "Snuff" by Slipknot, it's a love song, or something like that.

mpek1992

It's not a good song, it's a great one. It's the one that got me into listening to a7x

BananaKbone

Hell yeah, they're amazing, they're some of the bands that works the best together, and it truly makes them stand out.

mpek1992

Tbh I don't really like their sound after the rev passed away, but anything prior to that is gold

BananaKbone

The thing that changed the most was the vocals and drums, but, the guitar is pretty much the same, and all that The Rev did as a part of the band really does show, and you can tell how much it effected them. Also, check out Pinky Smooth, that's something that The Rev was a part of, and I think they only did one album. I didn't really like it at first, but, it is actually better than I thought the first time I heard them.

mpek1992

Il sure do! Thanks!

BananaKbone

They're not on Spotify, but if you look them up on YouTube you should find them.

Mordo85

I was made for loving you baby by KISS

SpeedyMcAssface

When Two Are One? By Atreyu?

Elizis

[motionless In White eternally yours](https://youtu.be/TwO0zLLybQ0) Softer choice is https://youtu.be/XyNFoZdKK98 They’re not as heavy. ^^

Wade_Wilson_Watts

My wife and I slow danced for a minute, had the DJ make a record scratch noise, then switched to "I Believe in a Thing Called Love"
